總會撿拾到屬於自己生命的碎片
拼湊成一個完整的自己
趙璿的創作捕捉並拼貼日常生活中的情感片段，
以詼諧的黑白人臉作為其創作符號，
呈現出印象深刻的人物臉龐，
讓觀者不由自主地投射成為其中的角色。
在畫布上凹凸的肌理和那氣味怪誕的人物、奇幻場景，
勾勒出她個人的生命經驗，
以及面對生命和歲月最真誠的展示。

《你好，陌生人－趙璿個展》將呈現藝術家趙璿過去十年間的創作演變。她重新拼貼日常經驗於創作中，除了象徵著找尋個人身份認同的意義之旅，更是折射出她對現實和非現實元素的混合和再建構，呈現出當代社會的複雜樣貌。在全球化和資訊劇變的時代，快速、便捷、多元服務等組裝概念盛行，人們開始相信自己是可以符合一種不被跨越和混淆的特定價值觀，成為更具彈性和輕盈的存在以應對各種需求。人是否成為持續被組裝、拼貼的樣態存在於世界呢？在此概念下，趙璿敏銳地觀察社會環境，試圖思考個體的定位，探索自身的主體性如何從陌生逐漸走向清晰，重新的認識自我，並透過作品記錄腦海裡乍現的超現實想像，同時也邀請我們重新探問，對於「被組裝」而成的自我，應以何種姿態回應這個時代？
在各種符號匯聚的過程裡，會連接著自身文化與外界文化的想像，而因碰撞所產生的張力和邊界，將會看見當代社會中特殊的組織結構和本質。本次展覽，襲園美術館將帶領觀眾一同走入藝術家抽象且詩意的超現實世界，探索人性複雜情感的多樣性，和藝術家在吸取各種文化後的思考變遷。通過趙璿獨特的視角，嘗試反思個體與社會、自我與他者之間的關係，並回望在當代社會中自己的定位。

In the contemporary art scene, Chao Hsuan has emerged with a unique creative approach. Her artwork captures and collages emotional fragments from everyday life, using whimsical black-and-white faces as her creative symbols. These striking facial expressions invite viewers to project themselves into the artwork. The textured canvases, peculiar characters, and fantastical scenes not only depict her personal life experiences but also serve as a sincere reflection on life and the passage of time.
"Hello, Stranger - Solo Exhibition by Chao Hsuan" will present the artistic evolution of Chao Hsuan over the past decade. She reassembles daily experiences in her artwork, symbolizing not only a journey to seek personal identity and recognition but also reflecting her blending and reconstruction of elements from reality and unreality, presenting the complex aspects of contemporary society. In an era of globalization and rapid information changes, the prevailing concept of rapid, convenient, and diverse assembly has led people to believe that they can conform to specific values without being crossed or confused, becoming more flexible and lightweight to meet various demands. Does this mean that people have become a continuous state of assembly and collage in the world? Under this concept, Chao Hsuan keenly observes the social environment and contemplates the individual's positioning, exploring how one's subjectivity gradually transitions from unfamiliarity to clarity, reacquainting oneself, and documenting the surreal imaginations that arise in the mind through artworks. At the same time, she invites us to question anew how we should respond to this era as a "constructed" self, and what stance we should adopt.
Throughout the convergence of various symbols, there will be connections between one's own culture and the outside world's culture, and the tension and boundaries that arise from these collisions will reveal the unique organizational structure and essence of contemporary society. In this exhibition, Xi yuan Art Museum will lead the audience into the artist's abstract and poetic surrealist world, exploring the diversity of complex human emotions and the transformation of the artist's reflections after absorbing various cultures. Through Chao Hsuan unique perspective, the exhibition attempts to reflect on the relationship between individuals and society, the self and others, and to revisit one's own position in contemporary society.
In the rolling waves of life, we constantly pick up fragments that belong to our own existence and piece them together to form a complete self.
